Our first full day at EuroDisney on another very cold and breezy but dry day after very poor breakfast arrangements at the hotel.

It was another very cold and breezy day but with no rain which we supposed was one blessing to be thankful for. We took a fair lay in after our loss of sleep yesterday and, by the time we walked over to the hotel restaurant/canteen it was a picture of overcrowding and confusion.

There was no room to sit, the meal was self-service with crowded service bays, food shortages and no instruction on how to get your meals. I had to sort things out and get the family organised and fed myself as Diana's understanding of the arrangements she had entered into was hopeless. In the end, we enjoyed the continental breakfast of two croissants, a bread roll, carton of orange juice and a coffee with Della opting for the Rice Crispies.

Worried about having to wait in the cold, we balked at catching the bus to EuroDisney but there were plenty of bus trips for us to catch at this morning hour so that we were all right. Another exhausting day in the theme park when we crystallised our impressions. In all, particularly in cold weather, it is not any body's ideal resort.

At the end of the day, we walked over to a large out-of-park area, still owned and run by Disney and called "Festival Disney" where, despite the exorbitant cost of 1100FF (£140), we decided to book up for the next day's performance of "Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show". The walk back to the hotel for a change, a bath each and my journal before bed. News is of another Allied air strike in Bosnia as NATO nations get involved again. God help us and the poor people in whose country this evil civil war is being fought.
