Loading up both cars for the journey from Horning to Paxton on a beautiful day after early frost, stopping off first in Wroxham at the library for the girls and Snetterton for lunch and then to see Mum in Stanton.

She played Debbie at draughts whilst I took Della and Sam for a walk to the site playing field. Bad news from Daniel; he no longer has Angela as a girlfriend at her instigation.

Elsewhere, the two-year-old boy lost in a shopping precinct was found dead after being abducted by two youths

I was first to wake again and tended Sam before joining the others for breakfast. Then the task of loading up both cars to set off for home. There was frost earlier but it was now a beautiful sunny day - just when we were leaving. I got the help of Di and Debbie to load up Steven's cement mixer into the Range Rover and still managed to get Della, Sam and a whole lot of other gear in as well. The journey was fine as we stopped off at Wroxham library with a refreshment break by the bridge first and then for lunch at Snetterton.

Poor Della succeeded in getting another nosebleed, but I managed to console her and we eventually reached Mum's house in Stanton, having telephoned ahead for her to expect us. We found her all right but somewhat depressed and tired having had trouble in sleeping. She played Debbie at draughts whilst I took Della and Sam for a walk to the site playing field and then we had a cup of tea and bid her farewell. Home in time for tea and then to walk Sam. He seems quite tireless and needs so much exercise, but I should be grateful that he makes the transition from one location to the other so well.

We heard bad news from Daniel. He no longer has Angela as a girlfriend at her instigation and is rather sad about it as we all are. He also had 'flu and did not venture home last weekend and, if only we had known, we could have spent some time looking after him! Elsewhere, the two-year-old boy lost in a shopping precinct was found dead after being abducted by two youths and the whole nation wonders at just how depraved our society is becoming with such atrocities.
