I booked us all seats at Cromer's cinema, "The Regal", for an early evening performance of "Honey I blew up the Kid".

A very active day with Sam and the family at Potter Heigham, Winterton, Wroxham and, after settling the dog, the drive to Cromer’s Regal Cinema to see "Honey I blew up the Kid".

The only blight on the evening was the fact that Della had a nosebleed during the car journey home and that Debbie claimed that this was a symptom of Leukaemia and refused to be silenced until hit my me!

The rest of the family were reluctant to wake up this evening, but the dawn chorus awoke me at 7.30am and I was able to get out with Sam's breakfast before 8.00am. A walk to exercise the dog and then we all went to Latham’s at Potter Heigham for some shopping and then refreshment in their cafe. I bought another half dozen packets of plastic bags for the Poop-Scoup, a county map of Norfolk and a variety of air-proof and waterproof containers to transport Sam's food about. The drive on to Winterton via North Walsham and Martham that brought back some happy memories and then we parked the car and took Sam and the children for a walk over the sand dunes to the beach.

It was a good experience for both Sam and the family to have so much time in close contact and they all enjoyed a calm and relatively mild day by the sand and sea. We fed the dog before leaving Winterton and then drove on to Wroxham for lunch at BeeKays and then a walk round the town. This gave Sam more time still with people and it is strange to see how excitable and nervous he is when in crowds yet is totally steady to cars and traffic. He has improved during the last few days, and I must plan for more trips of this nature. Tea and a rest at home and then I telephoned head and booked us all seats at Cromer's cinema, "The Regal", for an early evening performance of "Honey I blew up the Kid".

We enjoyed this film and felt that the Cromer Regal was much more pleasant than the Anglia Square Canon which has no evening children’s discounts and a terrible experience in our family's case for car theft from its car park. The Regal is a hospitable and friendly place with a nice family atmosphere. The only blight on the evening was the fact that Della had a nose bleed during the car journey home and that Debbie claimed that this was a symptom of Leukaemia and refused to be silenced until hit my me!
