Having lunch at Wroxham Barns
Having lunch at Wroxham Barns

Working and shopping on a fine and mild day and going to the library in Wroxham and Norwich and then having lunch at Wroxham Barns as I continued to fit out the new building whilst walking and feeding Sam.

I was reluctant to wake up on a fine and mild day but Sam was soon calling. At least I had a chance to get washed and shaved before he woke up this time. I fitted the bathroom mirror, toothbrush holder and cabinet this morning as the girls went to the shops and library in Wroxham. They then returned in mid-morning and I took them to Wroxham Barns where the girls visited the Junior Farm whilst we looked around the gift shops and then had a nice Christmas Lunch in the restaurant. Rather late back to feed Sam his midday meal but he was all right. This afternoon working on the kick-plates under the kitchen units and also successfully stalked and killed a Greylag Goose with my hunting air rifle from the lawn a couple of doors up.

I hung this in the garage and will prepare and cook it at the end of the week. Later this evening, I took Diana to B.& Q. DIY store in Norwich and we bought the curtain rails and other things. I managed to fit the largest of the curtain rails before bed this evening though it did make us a bit late. Sam was quite good today, with some long walks on the lead by Debbie and I. He is eating and messing a lot but is much quieter about being put and left in his kennel. This is after three periods of an hour's exercise each day. We telephoned Daniel at home today and he will be visiting us on Wednesday. Diana also found a lady willing to make our curtains and will be collecting her to do the measuring in the morning.
