After a quiet night at Brammerton Woods End, some phone calls which confirmed that Sarah wanted to go ahead with the job at Redgrave.
Then the cruise to Norwich where we met and chatted to the Harbourmaster who remembered me well.
Some shopping and a fine dinner at the Chinese restaurant in the Prince of Wales Road

I woke up this morning worried about how I was going to cope with getting my finances in order. I needed to get the proceeds from the sale of my gilts into a bank account and this appeared to need me going home for a week to manage these affairs.
I discussed these worries with Wiggly and it was her that suggested that we go back for a day later in the week. I was waiting for a telephone call from Sarah, having been concerned that I had not heard from her until then, and she duly called and said that she wanted to go ahead with the job at Redgrave and to meet us on Thursday night with her parents to discuss the details.
I also called my stockbroker and Freda about which accounts to open and use. This done I went out with Wiggly and the ever-patient Sam for a walk, disposing of the boat's rubbish at the same time and then we returned to set off.
We cruised straight up the Yare to Norwich past the historic Thorpe as Wiggly helmed and I wrote up these last few days journal. We cruised under the yacht station bridges, moored up and then Wiggly made lunch and we ate it on board after settling up with my old friend, the harbourmaster.
We met and chatted to the Harbourmaster who remembered me well for the times I had visited in the past. All this done, we walked into Norwich with Sam to do some shopping an we bought a new ship's tea pot and stemmed beer glasses and I then I fixed the cabinet glass rack.
The Floating Restaurant was full in the evening with a private party and so we had dinner at the Chinese restaurant in the Prince of Wales Road instead and still enjoyed it. Back to the boat late and tired to bed, resolved to leave first thing in the morning.
