Wiggly and I had fun relaxing in the hotel together

Recuperating at our hotel and spending the day at The Glasgow Conference Centre for day of speeches, conversations and fringe meetings.

After relaxing in the hotel together, it was back to the conference hotel by car for the fringe activities.

The British Film Industry was one topic and we were addressed by Michael Grade, Channel 4 Director. Later, we caught the end of ALDC meeting which Chris Rennard was addressing

We did not feel too bad today considering what we had been through the day before and even made breakfast in time for the 9.30am deadline.

I find Glasgow a very different place to that which I knew 10 years ago. The public places have been revamped, the slum dwellings cleared, and large sums of money spent on the infrastructure.

We had been greeted by the most extensive streetlighting that I have ever seen in a city as one example. The Glasgow Conference Centre, a large glass walled covered area is ideal for a conference and also represents another infrastructure investment.

A day of speeches, conversations and fringe meetings. A chance to meet other members and acquaintances, but also still time to relax in between.

We took taxis backwards and forwards; used the mobile telephone to keep in touch with our Redgrave project and had a restful highlight in early evening on the bed in our hotel room.

I opted for a shower and shave and then dictated these last few days journal for Wiggly to type as she sat cross legged on the bed wearing the same sexy undies that I had not had to remove during my recreation.

After these fun and games it was back to work and over to the conference hotel by car for the fringe activities. Wiggly was not happy about having to drive in Glasgow and I was not happy with her because she had not taken up my suggestion of getting a directional A-Z for that reason.

We argued in the car as I was not going to take over the navigating without a map. Later than intended, we arrived for the latter part of the fringe meeting that had the British Film Industry as its topic.

The company present were keen to support this industry and were addressed by Michael Grade, Channel 4 Director. More arguments as we drove onto the Central Hotel until Wiggly stopped driving in a tantrum after showing a lack of patience.

I took over the wheel quickly and without fuss and we arrived a few minutes later and parked in a very convenient position.

Because of these delays we were too late to eat at the hotel venue and so went across the road to a drab Pizzaland where I ordered having got fed up with Wiggly to say what she wanted.

We caught the end of ALDC meeting which Chris Rennard was addressing.

I was wondering how somebody so overweight can be so highly motivated and active in campaign terms.

We tried to find the conference hotel bar and failed but we were far too tired anyway and so repaired back to the hotel for a nights sleep.
