The day started quite well with a lay in, then breakfast before Diana insisted on joining me for the walk with Sam and even Della came along.

It was quite a long walk and Della was having lots of fun going ahead and telling Sam what to do.
Once back, it was getting near to lunchtime and, after doing a little work, it was time to take Diana out to lunch and the cinema.
We went to see "Rob Roy" which was a long but very good and dramatic film, even if the principal actor, Liam somebody, was quite obviously Irish.
We had been too late for lunch on the way in and so stopped off at The Little Chef on the way back for an open chicken sandwich each.
I had begun to feel achy with a headache by this time and was not sure I wanted anything but had some anyway.
Once back home, I took to the settee in the lounge, laying out to try and get my achy stomach and limbs comfortable, but only felt worse.
