Getting the new electoral database from Shire Hall In Cambridge

Keeping Sam happy in the warmer and humid weather and getting our election Ears computer data from Shire Hall In Cambridge  to form the new electoral database.

Then to Horning where we had a drink in the pub and  collected some takeaway food from Mr Chann's to eat at the house.

The morning routine with Wiggly setting off for once to work, knowing that I was going to be there for her return.

It was a difficult day to keep Sam happy as it was quite warm and humid, and the car was not the best place for him to be.

I took him for a walk early and a couple more during the day and found him some shade which was difficult at this time of year.

I had plenty to do in Wiggly's absence; commissioning the rest of the programs on my portable, ensuring that our election Ears data had not been corrupted by the new software and trying to commission the new mini-modem.

I was having trouble with the Windows95 installation as my floppy-disk drive would not work under it and that led to me wiping the database data from Cambridgeshire County Council!

I also tried to get the details of all our postal and proxy votes onto the computer and it ended up a rush as I set off late for Huntingdon.

I got the forms in on time before noon and then, having received a call from CCC saying I could go and collect a new copy of the database, I drove over to County Hall and got it.

Back to Montague Street after walking the dog and then to get packed and shaved to await Wiggly's arrival.

It was not long before she was ready and we set off for Norfolk, opting to drive straight to Horning where we had a drink in the pub and then collected some takeaway food from Mr Chann's to eat at the house.

With my computer set up there and all else unpacked, we relaxed for the evening and had an early and passionate night.
