The Relate Counselling meeting with Diana was quite a stressful exercise, but useful too, as Diana was at last able to discuss her emotions with somebody else and express her anger and feelings. Later I was working on elections at The Hayling View
I was awoken around 7.00am, despite my late night, with a cup of tea and some courtesy by Diana.

Then up, showered and dressed for breakfast with the girls at 7.30am, getting out with Sam and back in time to walk them all to the bus stop like old times. A little time to work at my desk and Email Wiggly and then out with Diana for the day.
My agreement is to avoid seeing or telephoning Wiggly whilst on my home visits but this does not specifically include writing or electronic mail and so I feel able to do that.
I learnt later that it is a critical week for Wiggly's workplace with a key meeting on the future of the Human Factors Team taking place on Tuesday with Wiggly and colleagues having to stand by.
This was set to interfere with our own plans for a nice night away and, together with another of her rehearsals on Thursday, would mean us spending less time together than we planned.
The counselling interview was quite a stressful exercise, but useful too, as Diana was at last able to discuss her emotions with somebody else and express her anger and feelings.
She also took the point about not being at all affectionate or willing to accommodate my needs and seemed to be actually very fond of me and wanting to reconcile our marriage.
This theme continued as I took her into town for morning coffee and, after some shopping there, once we were having lunch at the Bedford Pizza Hut. We were in earnest conversation which actually made us twenty minutes late for the film. I did not mind too much, as after all, I had already seen this film "Boys on the Side" with Wiggly a couple of days earlier. Back home where, after
a little work, I was accompanied yet again by Diana; this time on my walk with Sam. It was a fine day but still chilly with this North East wind.
Back for tea of burnt sausages and then the evening trying to catch up on some work. I was struggling with trying to get things organised for the Eynesbury Re-election whilst looking after Diana, Wiggly and Sam and all else at the same time.
To make things worse, John Roscoe had taken his computer apart and was unable at first to assist with getting the poster artwork ready for my trip to print it in Cambridge in the morning.
Everything had panned out much better by bedtime and the day looked more successful in retrospect after we had also caught up with our payments to staff and managed the outstanding matters which were urgent. I had an earlier night.
