Heartbreak and hassle after Diana's Relate meeting and subsequent outburst. On to The Priory for the first pre-Town Council meeting for the LibDem councillors to discuss issues arising on Wednesday with Val Bye and Jan Durham arguing emotionally against the inevitable.
This was not a very good day. First the household was disrupted by Brittains coming to screed the kitchen floor in preparation for us having a new piece of vinyl fitted.

Apart from the smell, it was tricky having to keep out of the kitchen given all of the things we normally get from there.
Next, I was working away in my office and starting to pack my things ready to leave later on. Diana went to her individual Relate counselling session in the morning and then came back for me to take her out for a pub lunch.
It always has the effect of making her open up and raise all manner of difficult issues with me which I find stressful to deal with. At least we sat in the car afterwards and agreed that we would both sign the new will copies and that she will trust me to manage the money for the time being which was a relief.
Had she still wanted to go and see Roger Brittain, he may have mentioned seeing me at the play with Wiggly and her friends the other night! I worked on for the afternoon, Diana joining me for a walk with Sam, and then I joined Di and the family for a McDonalds meal for tea.
I was ready to leave shortly afterwards for my LibDem meeting but she reckoned I was not going to say goodbye and then went into a weepy/waily fit again; saying things like, "How many more times are you going to do this to us?" and "You don't care about us" etc.
I eventually got away and was late for the pre-meeting canvassing but Wiggly had the sense to have left a note with her location and I joined her to take the spare canvas clipboard and canvassed two roads before it was time to go.
To The Priory for the meeting which was first a pre-Town Council meeting for the LibDem councillors to discuss issues arising on Wednesday.
There was a very controversial issue concerning planning permission for a new wine-bar/night club to replace the old Ireland Bros building in New Street and this took ages.
I tried to help them but still Val Bye and Jan Durham kept arguing emotionally against a forgone conclusion instead of agreeing harsh conditions.
It was late by the time we could get on to the Eynesbury campaign and I had great trouble raising any enthusiasm for the campaign despite revealing how close the contest with Labour really was.
A walk afterwards for the ever-patient Sam and then back rather depressed to see Wiggly who wondered where I had got to.
A nice chat until very late and then to bed where straight to sleep from the tiredness and strain of the evening, with no chance for sex.
