A Norfolk day with girls who were fine, after I was struggling to be comfortable in Harnser. Then bad news from Mr Hurrell of Wroxham builders who reported that Broads Authority planners were querying our rebuilding design.
Cruising in The Paxton Princess and The Jolly with the girls and then skating for Debbie and to the Cinema to see Casper, the cuddly ghost film, with Della before home via the Barton Mills Little Chef. Wiggly had been looking after Sam well.
I had a poor night, struggling to be comfortable and cool under conventional bed clothes and in pyjamas at Harnser.

My bed had been made up and used by Diana and it even smelled of her which was strange.
I had stayed up very late anticipating problems but it was worse than I feared. Up to use the bathroom before Della and Debbie, who had been very comfortable and settled in their little room.
I received a message from Mr Hurrell of Wroxham builders and so arranged to drop in and see him in mid-morning; getting cash from the local building society branch at the same time.
The builder and I were struggling over the unreasonable behaviour of the planners and their consultants who appeared to be calling for changes to the replacement Heronshaw design that would be counter-productive by making it look bigger and uglier by wanting the hipped roofs and bay windows removed!
I got back with just a couple of hours to spare for taking the girls on a boat trip along the river. After some thought and at Della's behest, we opted to take the Paxton Princess and cruised both ways up the river before coming back to take The Jolley to pop over to Horning Tea Shoppe for some refreshments and a snack lunch.
Then a rush to get Debbie into Norwich for her Supaskate rendezvous with the boy she met yesterday and then into Cromer with Della to see Casper, the cuddly ghost film, with her.
She had seen it before but thought it was so good that she took me to see it this time. I enjoyed it and even cried quite a lot in family scenes where the main characters were sad about wanting to see their dead relatives.
The dash back to collect Debbie just at the right time and then the drive back to Horning to pack up and leave. I was getting a bit angry with Della, in particular, and Debbie as well as they both were taking their time and did not want to leave and then took an age at the Barton Mills Little Chef.
Unusually, that establishment was dead slow and very much less efficient than usual. I eventually got them away but was quite late getting them back to Paxton and even later still getting myself back to Eynesbury.
I found Diana prostrate on the lounge floor with her legs up on the settee doing her relaxation exercises, even though there were lights on and televisions blaring in two other rooms upstairs.
I attended to my mail, her latest cheque and Visa transactions and then sat at my desk planning our financial affairs. She was rather offish and took little notice of me and then eventually came to me to tell me that she was no longer happy about making further investments in Redgrave, being now sceptical at shop and post office opportunities.
I guided her away from it as she was feeling worried and it would also suite me and Wiggly better to have this opportunity separated anyway. Away from the house after having to search out the girls to say goodnight as Diana had not asked them to come and kiss me goodnight or goodbye.
Then back to Montagu Street where I had to get unloaded, everything straight and then packed up again for the start of my holiday with Wiggly in the morning. She was out at her rehearsals but had been very good, taking Sam for two walks during the day and then packing her things up.
I was still working at the problem when we got back and then, dog tired from our exertions, we had a chat, a bed-time drink and went to bed with alarms set for the morning.
