Della was fine to take the school bus this morning as her friend Jemma was back from holiday. Then some long walks with Sam today and the first run in the country for him as I walked him around some riverside land in Godmanchester where geese abounded before some transactions and a hair cut in St Neots. A drier day but the north-east breeze felt quite chilly again
I was slow to get started this morning and was late down to breakfast and unable to walk to the bus-stop with Diana and the girls. Della went off to school all right but had her friend Jemma back from holiday and able to sit in the bus with her. Some long walks with Sam today and the first run in the country for him as I walked him around some riverside land in Godmanchester. This was same land that I thought of buying some years ago and I should have done so as there was a large flock of geese lying there on the grass!

Not much else achieved today but I did drive into St Neots, had coffee with Diana and did some building society transactions and then got my hair cut and the car washed which were both overdue. This evening, I also summarised the month's journal and did a little paperwork. A drier day for once but the breeze went round to the north-east and, even though the sun came out, it felt quite chilly again.
