I had a lay in and only noticed that Diana was up and getting the morning drinks when I had to get up for the toilet. In fact, we were so late that Daniel was able to join us to make a complete family meal for once. I used the little time left before lunch to get my car loaded up for the journey to Norfolk. This was almost a day earlier than usual as I had to settle in and prepare for the pup's arrival tomorrow. I managed to secure some supplies of the food that he had been acclimatised to after visiting four pet shops, a supermarket and finally a garden centre. It was dark and damp in Horning as there is so little daylight at this time of year. However, I unpacked and set up Sam's pen in the garage, tried adjusting the P.I.R. outside light (without success) and then investigated what was necessary to fit the bath screen which I will attempt tomorrow.
