Home for lunch and to see Sally Guinee to help with her meeting preparation

Up early to solve my election leaflet printing problem by collecting my artwork and paper from Cambridge and taking them to another printers. Home for lunch and to see Sally Guinee to help with her meeting preparation and then some time sorting out money and credit cards for my US trip. This evening to a good meeting of the Village Hall committee.

I was up early and trying to contact Percy to take over some of my problems this morning, but I was not able to do so. Instead, I had to get to Glisson Road to meet Roy around 10.15am and to collect my election artwork and 5500 sheets of A3 paper to take up to my alternative printers. I successfully achieved this and negotiated the printing to be done this week so that I could collect it on Friday morning and get it folded at Glisson Road. I had also to go in there on Wednesday to photo-copy my posters so that the team could get the poster boards made up before Sally goes on holiday.

Back home just in time for lunch at 12.30pm and then Sally came round for a couple of hours so that we could go through her agenda for this evening's HDC meeting and also to talk about St Neots issues for the second election leaflet. A little time to sort out our holiday at the end of the afternoon. I managed to arrange an increase in my Co-op VISA limit to £6,000 from £4,000 and then confirmed my order for the holiday booking. The last few minutes of the afternoon to order some cash from local building societies for Monday and then it was time for tea. This evening, my journal and then off to the Little Paxton Village Hall meeting which I opted for in place of the LibDem S.W. Cambs Exec Committee. It was a good meeting of the Village Hall committee which reviewed the arrangements for enhancing and repairing the hall as well as a few other things. Home quite late and then a couple of telephone calls before retiring to bed.
