Wroxham in our Riverside self-catering Lodge at the Peninsular Leisure Centre

Departing for our holiday in Norfolk on a bright and sunny day, with a cool breeze, towing The Little Lady as a giant luggage receptacle and then stopping off at Stanton to see my Mum and Dad, with whole the kids played nicely. A lunch stop at Banham Zoo and on to Wroxham in our Riverside self-catering Lodge at the Peninsular Leisure Centre and just time for a trip in Little Lady to Wroxham Broad

I was awake early on the morning of our departure for Norfolk. It was a chilly morning – bright, sunny but cool with a breeze. We went through our morning routines and then loaded The Little Lady up with supplies and coupled it to the Range Rover as a giant luggage receptacle. We took off at about 9 AM after locking and alarming the house. A steady journey to Stanton first of all, where we had an enjoyable 90 minutes with Mum and Dad. I gave mum and inscribed book for her forthcoming birthday, dad played with Daniella at the swings and I got a good video of them, and Debbie and Daniel play Scrabble with mum.

Another nice sequence of pictures of all the family. When we left, we drove on to the Banham zoo and monkey place where we had lunch in their fast food restaurants and then had an hour looking around the zoo. I bought a couple of nice Koi carp books as well. Onwards to Wroxham in our Riverside self-catering Lodge at the peninsular leisure centre. We have our own moorings, a swimming pool etc. this will launch Daniel’s boat and had tea of toast and cheese together before we went with the boys on a trip to Wroxham broad whilst the girls had bars. I sat out for the rest of the evening, reading and writing postcards to Nigel, mum and dad, and days. The sun shone today but it was a bit cool. Plenty for us to do in the next week.
